It's literally unfair. Not to mention a particular enemy before hand that will invariably remove one hitpoint off of you before you even get there The other is laughably easy if you have good reflexes and timing.

This is like taking the Sans battle from Undertale and making it far harder to effectively dodge anything.

And honestly, the first boss isn't too shabby. Good luck getting back onto the platform after you get knocked off. Add more hitpoints, and it'd be difficult enough.

But yeah, the second boss is a complete pushover once you've gotten the Bikini and Magic Sword, which you can get as early as halfway through the second dungeon, if you're determined enough.

Killed the 3rd boss on my 3rd attempt, 1st boss on my 2nd so I'm not sure what you're talking about, the issue with the 2nd boss is that you can just out dps him if you get the armor OR the sword.

It's not able to extract a file that's present in the game archive, which might be a permissions error. You could try moving the game folder to a different location and running it from there, or running it as an administrator.

I also can't seem to get a grip on the hitboxes in the second boss, when I try to dodge I just get hit from something else and I keep getting hit, or it'll look like i shouldnt have been hit and i get hit anyway.

The second boss has a very annoying counter that actually hits further and further away from the boss but also keeps hitting close. Basically, everytime you hit him, it will do a 4 slash counter WHILE doing his normal slashes and that ground thingy as well.

So you have to time your attacks in such a way that you can run back and then jump over the normal slash at the end Or duck under it without getting hit by ground It's by far the hardest boss though, with the third boss being waaaaaaay too easy in comparison.

I beat the second boss by running around the overworld more, getting some extra health, less damage from hits and extra damage with my own hits, and then I managed to just barely kill him while afterwards absolutely murdering the third boss.

That is weird. Though I spent a lot of time getting all kinds of artefacts. Doubled my weapons strength, halved damage received and I think I doubled my life as well, though it's been a while, not sure.

But with the third boss, I really just ran up and hit him till he was dead. No moves. So, I have replayed the game just to be sure I was correct and yeah, I totally beat the third boss easy, though now I know where to get all the items, so the second boss was pretty easy as well.

My trick was not worrying about trying to get up there as best you can, instead trying to get into a pattern of jumping from left to right.

In most cases, the white balls will be either on the left OR the right and the bull's attacks are very predictable.

What helped me as well, was jumping near the end of every one of the bulls attacks so he reappears in the row above me and I can focus on avoiding the white balls.

It took me a few times to get into the groove. When I did find myself in a position where I'd get hit by something, I turn so I fall back towards most of the platform and not all the way to the ground.

If you do fall though, don't try to clamber up as fast as you can, because that'll get you panicking and in trouble! So I've played this demo and for the first hour or so, I was quite frustrated with the game.

Despite telling us it's an "open" game wherein you can choose where to go, going to Dungeon 2 before Dungeon 1 is borderline impossible to do.

So my first savegame got stuck right there. I restarted, went to Dungeon 1, then 2, then 3 and had a much more enjoyable time, all those little secrets to find on the overworld slowly but surely make you strong enough to take on the heavier dungeons, the fights with the bosses were fun, though I found the controls a little weird and hard to get used to.

Jumping is rather awkward and jumping from standing still vs moving making so much of a difference, I've very often jumped into things by accident because I had to make precise moves and just made a teensy mistake, hitting an enemy bullet of some sort and getting knocked back, my shield is useless as I blink in temporary invincibility after a hit, meaning if a bullet is IN me when I go out of it, I immediately get hit again.

BUT, I beat all three bosses and in general had a really fun time, I'd say the game could definitely use a dedicated map that grows as you move around, because the game is quite maze like and without an overworld map, it took me a loooong time to correctly remember the paths to various places.

The secrets were great though, when I found that spot where you can literally walk through the wall, that was a great moment and I hope the final version of the game has a whooooole ton more fun secrets to discover.

One final minor gripe with the game, is that progression feels a little chaotic, experience feels rather useless untill you've got a few items to speed it up, but even then it's basically pushing you to "grind" to get your health back, moving back and forth between screens to kill enemies, get health and progress further.

This really is rather boring and I'd say that strategically placed health pickups would work better. There's this hippo that keeps moving around everytime you talk to him and then find certain treasures he's looking for before he does He never gets there first It's a room where you come in from the right and you can go up two small platforms and jump down to the left along a solid wall.

There's these bird head things, one coming from the left and one from the right trying to knock you away and there's a single fire where you go up those platforms.

Basically, that wall you can fall down, isn't solid, and you can open it up by jumping down and hitting it, then climbing back up and jumping and hitting it again.

Once it's open, you can pass through, jump a gap and go through the next few screens of walls. On the itch app I get the error message when I tried to run the game after install "Its last words were: application crashed.

The game is HARD.. I love that I can level up my health and every time I get just a bit further I find some new item that will either come in handy later or immediately changes how I play.

I also found Dungeon 1 after Dungeon 2. I was doing fine until Dungeon 2 started having rooms that require the Shield upgrade I didn't know existed!

I never found the cartouche for Dungeon 1. Walked back from the Overworld save point every time to not lose progress.

The EXP bar for full heals never made sense to me. Consider health pickups instead - only getting ammo and coins as loot didn't feel rewarding anyway.
